Acceptance of Terms

By entering Card Grove Bathurst or using any of its facilities, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. These terms apply to all visitors, players, and guests, regardless of whether you are participating in poker play, dining, or simply observing. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not enter the venue. The venue reserves the right to update these terms at any time, and your continued use of the premises constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.

Scope of Terms

These terms cover all activities within the venue at 142 William Street, Bathurst NSW 2795, Australia, including:

• Offline poker games, tournaments, and casual play
• Restaurant services and reservations
• Use of the card lounge and all areas of the premises

Minimum Age

All visitors must be 21 years of age or older to enter Card Grove Bathurst. Valid government-issued photo identification is required for entry and may be requested at any time during your visit. Acceptable forms of identification include:

• Driver's licence
• Passport
• Proof of age card

The venue reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone unable to provide acceptable identification, regardless of stated age.

Responsible Gambling

Card Grove Bathurst is committed to responsible gambling and provides a controlled environment for poker play. Staff are trained to recognise signs of problem gambling and may intervene where appropriate. Self-exclusion options are available upon request. The venue promotes poker as a game of skill, not a source of income, and encourages all visitors to play within their means.

General Conduct

All visitors must behave respectfully and follow staff instructions at all times. The following conduct rules apply throughout the venue:

• No abusive language or aggressive behaviour
• No cheating or collusion of any kind
• Mobile phones must be silenced at poker tables
• Dress code: smart casual; no offensive clothing

Poker Table Rules

Card Grove Bathurst enforces standard poker rules for all games. The following table rules apply at all times:

• Decisions by the dealer or floor manager are final
• Chips must remain visible at all times
• No string bets; verbal declarations are binding
• Players must act in turn

Tournament Rules

Poker tournaments follow specific structures announced before play. The following tournament rules apply:

• Blind levels and starting stacks are set by the venue
• Late registration may be allowed at venue discretion
• Prize pools are distributed according to published schedules

Poker Table Reservations

Reservations for poker tables can be made by phone or in person. To reserve a table, call +61 2 6332 5841. Please note the following policies:

• A deposit may be required for premium poker tables
• Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance
• No-shows may forfeit their deposit

Restaurant Reservations

Dining reservations are recommended, especially for large groups. Cancellations should be made at least 12 hours in advance. The venue may hold tables for 15 minutes past the reservation time before releasing them to other guests.

Assumption of Risk

Visitors acknowledge that poker play involves risk of financial loss. Card Grove Bathurst is not responsible for losses incurred during play. Visitors participate at their own discretion, and the venue does not provide gambling advice.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Card Grove Bathurst is not liable for personal injury or property damage sustained on the premises. Visitors are responsible for their belongings, and the venue is not liable for lost or stolen items. This limitation does not exclude liability for gross negligence.
